Q: Why did the customer service agent hang up on me?

A: Did you swear at her? Did you actually fail to ask her something related to the job she was there to perform, even after fifteen minutes on the phone? Had she already given her answer? Had she given it several times already? Did you notice she tended to repeat the same line, a line that, you can’t be sure, but sounded a bit like an answer? Did you fling a racial stereotype at her? Did you say something incredibly sexist to her? Did you, in fact, insult her? Have you ranted at her for the past fifteen minutes about an issue you have that she cannot help you with? Did you insult her boss, her co-workers, public figures or her mother?

If the answer to any of these is yes, the answer is: because she’s a bitch. Obviously.
