David Malki of Wondermark writes barely concealed AU Hot Fuzz fanfic.
Zoho
I somehow did not know about this before. It’s an Internet service that offers secure email and an online office (writer, spreadsheet, presentation, calendar etc, all online without any need to download the applications). You can check your other inboxes through the mail service, too. It’s free to any extent an individual would need it, with a possibility to expand for businesses. It also let’s you create your own Wiki on Zoho webspace. All you have to do is sign in. Niiiice.

There’s Not Enough Binds In This Double
QueenEmily points out on Questioning Transphobia that Caster Semenya was found innocent of a crime no-one dared to name: being an intersexed athlete.

Section: Feminist
Lucky me
Cereta points out something that should be obvious but isn’t, apparently.
Two related posts on two very different blogs:
This Is Something I Avoid Thinking About by Abby Jean on FWD/Forward
The Unsung Archetype: The 99% Hero by Sarah on Smart Bitches, Trashy Books
Sarah praises the man who sticks by his sick partner. Abby is disheartened by a study that shows women who develop health issues are much more likely to be abandoned by their partners.
(I try not to insert my own opinion directly in these linkspam posts, but just this once I’ll say that I think a man who doesn’t leave his partner when she falls sick is just a normal, decent person doing the least of what you would expect in a partner. We should not expect to be abandoned or praise the absence of such piggery too enthusiastically, lest we contribute to the idea that it’s somehow extraordinary to be a decent parner to a sick woman.)
On Sex, Gender, Femininity and Lady Gaga
Amazon dissects reactions to Gaga as somehow “not a real woman” on Dangerous Women.

What If People Actually Treated Religion As Just a Metaphor (Like Trekkies and Secular Jews)?
Greta Christina posts on Alternet.org on something that is extremely relevant to my interests.
Bad Cripple
Anna on FWD/Forward on the myth of the disabled person who doesn’t really need disability checks.
